Environment. Pick an environment you enjoy. An upscale club, a gym, a track, your backyard or living room, again, it doesn’t matter. If you like being outdoors, then work out outside. If you’re a woman and feel you may be uncomfortable working out around men, you can consider a women’s only club. If you like a more “social” gym, find one with your type of crowd. I wish I could say this has been a good week for me. After not feeling well for several weeks, I visited the doctor’s office and have been found to have a sinus infection. If it isn’t one thing, it’s another. I spent most of this week curled up at home, with no energy to do anything.
I have been watching a lot of television lately. I am held captive to federal election coverage in the United States and Canada, and developments in Israel and Palestine. Couple the time spent in front of the television with the time spent in front of my steering wheel for hours on end in eight-lane traffic and I have the perfect recipe for helping to avoid tight hip flexors and a shrinking posture.
